Bricoler, permuter, supermodifier... Trois étapes dans la carrière d'Amon Tobin, trois discours cachés sur sa propre manière de concevoir une palette sonore expérimentale et colorée. Out From Out Where — titre qui ne cherche plus à faire sens mais à nous égarer — est une sorte d'adieu. Il s'amuse à remettre du jazz et de la Funk dans son IDM ("Searchers", "Rosies", "Proper Hoodidge") mais rien n'est reconnaissable ; percussif comme autrefois mais sans tambours ("Triple Science"). Un album alien.
